This year meterex is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Once founded as an electroplating company by Karl and Richard Kuntze senior, the company boasts one of the largest ranges of folding rules and tape measures available today. According to the company headquarters in Langenfeld, meterex was one of the first companies in Germany to introduce digital printing technology for folding rules. Thanks to its own production, screen printing, pad printing and digital printing plant, meterex is currently one of the leading measuring tool companies in Europe. Since the 1970s, the company has focused on the German and European promotional products market. In 2005 Oliver Kuntze took over the management from his father Richard Kuntze junior, who had managed and developed the company for 40 years. Since all celebrations had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus, the company management decided to release an anniversary video on www.meterex.com. It was shot during the PSI 2020. An in-depth article on the 100-year anniversary will be published in the PSI Journal.
